I've got no problem with Laika serving as a moderator. If he turns out to be an idiot, which I doubt will happen, it's easy enough to shut him down, no?

Somewhat late to the party on this, but I agree. He seems like a pretty decent guy and has a solid commitment to the community. Granted if those are the two criteria we're using then my vote goes to Bert and/or Sen. If they don't want it then I'm happy with the role going to someone who does. Anyway, it's lot like we're making him dictator for life.

1- Xander (the most rapid sticker of topics in the west)
2- Ace (to invalid your arguments, noobs)

3- Laika (he wants, he's good, he's nice, -no grudges, no special shit- even if you all are so )
4- Bert (supreme moral and technical authority)
5- MVPE or SENATOR or CZA could be wise too, due to their long and deserving exercice in defcon and on this forum.

Seriously if i have a little credits there i think, non-too-arguing peoples making concrete "shits" should be designed as moderator there. Simple right? ^So my preference goes to the 3th, 4th and 5th.

Laika should be a moderator because he is very often around on forum and in game. i also would do it but i think my english is not good enough to understand all the insults.lol! Laika`s english seems much better.

Yeah, a PM of me is to him is also in my outbox since Friday. Definitely, we need to go on with the plan. The best moderator is useless if he's not around.

Yeah, well, I do find those horribly distasteful and sick as well, but I suggest we give him a few days. He may be just a newbie trying to make a big entrance to get the veterans' attention, and he may calm down once someone cuts him down to size on the battlefield.

Those aren't sufficient reasons to give him a few days. He should be banned immediately.
