Modifications bug

Ok, Any mod I load (of the 3 I have)
When I play all numbers appear as x and country names are messed up and stuff. To give you an idea:

I guess the mod isnt really compatible with the newer versions of defcon, which feature extended language support. Go to the mod dir and search for the file with the game text. Probably english.txt or so and delete it. You will lose all altered text but otherwise the mod should still work.

Alternative unrar (unpack) main.dat file and locate the file containing the game text, edit it, using the mods english.txt as input. And replace the mods english.txt with it.

how does one go about unpacking a dat folder (my secret is out, I am a tech noob lol)

How about the 1st option then? Finding and deleting a file isnt too much challenge, is it?

To unpack the main.dat file you can use the WinRar software. Its free to download from the internet.
