Hey everyone,
I thought itd be interesting to get an idea of how many poeple are buying DEFCON, so we know how many multiplayer games we will be able to get going
Also I think it'd be interesting to see what purchase options poeple are taking.
Regards,
ChaZ

So it do look like i cant enjoy the preorder offer. Would it be possible to make a preorder of the Linux version?
I mean that IV send's me the box when the Linux version is done.
You can get the preorder-offer. The Windows-cd can be used under Linux once the linux-patch is finished.
Pre-ordered through the IV website... (first post)
Download and boxed copy for "only" 14€ woohoo
I really don't understand why anyone would want to PRE-order it through Steam Ok, it's a great online service and you can always re-download the game but the price difference is negligeable I think... Pre-ordering directly means more money for IV and more value for money for you, the customer (ie. the boxed copy in your hands)!
Come to think of it, maybe the IV-servers won't be able to handle all the downloads on september 29th 6pm GMT? Maybe the the Steam-users will get to play it a bit faster because of faster downloads?
My order number was 716X... I suggest everybody here posts their ordernumbers too, so we can guestimate the number of sales made already
