Well if it goes from Geforce 256 to Geforce 2, that probably makes the 256 somewhat the Geforce 1. Eh?

Btw, this all is beginning to be really of topic.

I make it 255 away ;)

If you're unsure, grab GPU-Z and see what it tells you. Google will give you it.

Or what about playing Defcon on a projector with some serious surround sound action. That would be cool.

Defcon is enabled for that kind of immersive experience. amBX or something like that. Search the forums, because I am too lazy to do so right now. ;)

amBX is just that moronic thing with glowy lights behind your screen that light up when a nuke lands, and a little incense thing with a genuine imitation nuclear fallout odour emitter.

Already done :D

Big board + wireless keyboard and mouse = Dr Strangelove territory

Didn't worry about the surround sound though (beep beep cough weep)

Having used Defcon with an amBX kit, I can tell you that it's uber amazing. I hope to see more of amBX in IV's games, as if done right you'll get some awesome feedback from the game.

How did I miss this for more than a week

I don't use ballistic sounds because a) it contributes to lag (poor little Mac Mini processor :( ) and b) it doesn't fit with the Strangelove setting. You don't hear an enormous boom when something blows up on the other side of the world (or on the other side of your superbly reinforced bunker, for that matter!)

I have tried it and it does sound awesome, though!

I would love to play DEFCON on a wii, the only problem would be getting the whole Nuclear War thing past Nintendo and managing to get an online system.

Ive stopped renting games for it, but if i remember right you have to use friend codes or something for online play.
