Not like I could do so anyways, but the license (last time I read it) that comes with the source code forbits to make builds for platforms other then those defcon is already realesed for. But maybe you could sneak in a recordings playback engine inbetween the legal issues, not sure.

Just do it anyways for yourself, just don't publicize it, how will they find out? (: I never listen to the dumb license agreement bs crap I bought the game I can do what ever I want to it for my personal purpose.

You probably should listen to the agreement. Because, you know, are agreeing to it. It is legally binding.

You can do whatever you want with the source code, that's the whole point of purchasing it. But you can not give it to another person (in general, maybe exceptions), be it unchanged, altered or compiled without permission of the copyright owner. The licence grants (or not) permissions within this scope.

So I can't do whatever I want with it. Seriously though, imo most realistic scenario is IV giving a share for Defcon IOS port while retaining the rights (like they did with Linux), but I don't see why would anyone invest effort into making one.

First time you've used "can" as in "being able", second - as in "legally permitted", I've tried making a silly joke by replacing the meaning. Either there is a flight prohibition that you don't care about for some reason, or you've skipped that.
