I'd prefer that when P is pressed, it would save the screenshots to their own subfolder in the Defcon install directory. I've been taking lots of screenshots lately and it really clutters up the Defcon folder.

I actually created my own Screenshots folder to move all the screens into. If Defcon did that by default, or I had the ability to choose where screens were saved, that'd be great.

Couldnt agree more but it shouldnt be a big problem as long as you manage your folder regularly and neatly :P also have my own defcon folder for shots.

It would also make sense not to store them IN the defcon folder by default.
I've never had to reinstall, and if I did I would first back-up my screenshots, but I don't doubt people have lost screenies due to that :(

Yeah, most programs default to "My Documents", if not allowing you to choose a folder...

Seems simple to me. And yet I'm always surprised at the oddball things they decided to have the game do.

Sounds like the yeas have it.

A simple bat or cmd file will solve that problem:

Code: Select all

@echo off
defcon.exe
ren *.bmp <put the name of the desired folder here>
NMO
