Waypoints

Postby Ocelot.UK » Sun Jul 15, 2007 6:14 pm

I was just wondering whether it would be possible to incorporate some sort of waypoint feature into the game that would allow units to travel specif routes to attack without having to be watched all the time. I often find myself going crazy when i send units and find out that they have flown directly over a silos or into another fleet.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

If you use the search feature, you'll notice this idea has been discussed many times before. The general conscencus is that Defcon is not Command & conquer/civilisation, and that doing so would impact the game mechanics.
Proper micromanagement of your bombers (and other units, mind you) is key to becoming a good player.

You may want to take a look at the "defcon school" topic or at the strategy subforum ;)

This answer is suitable for nearly all questions posted here :) I wonder whether phpBB supports auto-answering .

You may want to take a look at the "Defcon School: Everybody Learns" topic or at the Strategic Air Command subforum. ;)

Fixed, and saved for later use. ;)
