suggestion for the next patch: radar range accessible

Postby zkl » Tue May 08, 2007 10:18 am

hi,

i would love to see in the new patch, that if you go with your mouse over any radar, u can see its viewing range, till now i alway use my fingers as compass which is annoying and makes blotches on my display

any other comments on this issue?

Use a ruler not your finger, and by ruler I mean measuring device or straight edge...

It might be nice to see the individual ranges of your own RADAR. I see no reason why you should be able to see the ranges of your enemies RADAR. You don't get any other information about the enemy, I don't see why this should be different.

? you have informations about your enemies radar, its the same like yours!

in priniple you know the enemies radar range but its just annoying to draw it on the whiteboard using the "finger" distance measurement

If you watch an enemy fighter launch, you know exactly how much fuel it has, so the game should show you that, too, eh? The game doesn't give you any extra information about your enemies. Period. This makes sense, to me.

screw rulers, sticks and strings. I will soon post a simple device that will revolutionize our way measuring Defcon radar ranges. I kid you not.

EDIT: Solution posted. It's revolution baby! ;-):
