we need a lobby

any chance of a lobby where players can chat before createing and joinng a game?,
al so how can I get rid of the constant wailing but leave the sirn alerts in,
and can there be a large audio alert for wehn the count down starts, unlikely as it seems ive missed it a few times

Nonetheless, I think an in-game client would still be welcomed by most people.

And to get rid of certain sounds, I believe you can edit the sounds.txt (?) file, inside either the data.dat or sounds.dat (they're just zips).
