what do you think about a chat option on this sider or even better chat channel in the game like in starcraft for example?

Yes it has been. Search for "lobby" and you'll see

However, I don't think there's any harm in repeating the request. I'd prefer an in-game lobby, but site chat could be pretty good as well.
