When using MRBMs or any other single-unit only targetable weapons, it would be nice if you had a key to switch to your next unit and give it the same orders you gave the last one.
Shift-click MRBM mode for your subs and have them all arm (this can already be done). Now that you have them armed, click sub #1 and assign 5 MRBM targets. Click the next key and sub #2 (the next one over in a clockwise fashion) is selected with mrbm targeting ready. Once you have selected 5 targets, click again and do this with each sub in the fleet.
Next Unit in Fleet button.

Silos would be workable, so long as it only applies to silos in ICBM launch mode. ^_^;;;
To be honest, though, silo positioning is too important for me to be happy doing it that way. Subs, they're all at approximately the same location, but with silos, they're quite spread out. That means that if you want to keep track of where your missile arcs are going to go, you need to know *which* silo it is, not just select the next one in line. Even then, I suppose it might be useful in speed defcon, where you don't have the option of slowing things down for precision in any case.

Silos could work too, though I was thinking primarily about subs. With my silos, I usually manually launch from back to front and wait for the missiles to get over one before firing that one.
With that noted though, I think a "next fleet unit" button mentioned in the original post would be great, but your idea of selecting the next silo (Or I think airfields in bomber mode would be nice) could be useful.
