ECM / AWACs aircraft Refuelers

Postby desktopsimmer » Wed Oct 04, 2006 8:48 pm

A user can fly a ECM /AWACs aircraft and can target an area to block RADAR, updating the movement and firing of units, this would be inflicted on Friendlies as well as Enemies. The alternative mode is long range mobile RADAR station, maybe the same range as the RADAR station. It would take sometime to swap between each modes. One per airbase and extreme long range. can be depolyed at defcon4

Also Refuelers to refuel ECM / AWACS, fighter and bombers

Fighters dont tend to last long, & bombers either are dropping a nuke & heading home, or in naval mode & generally close to home or on the ocean floor...

The radar jamming is an interesting concept, I prefer the idea of using the jamming to prevent location of ground installations in its area of effect. IE fighters scrambled to scout silos & radar getting jammed thus preventing enemies locating the loot.

I prefer the idea of RADAR jamming by nuking the RADAR towers.

this is more to jam unit's RADAR and disabling the ability to move units over a area, not to blitz them to piece's :)

far more fun to disable the enemy, and go for humiliation, as they can't redirect the fleet/aircraft to needed areas :p
