Mod Request: Aging prisoners. Possible?

Hey guys and gals.
So after the new update video I've realized that the modding capabilities of the game have been greatly expanded fairly recently. So would it be possible to mod in aging prisoners?
There's a mod from a few years back even that implements aging staff, so I'd reckon it should be possible for prisoners as well, right? Of course they should also die of natural causes at some point, like in that mod.
I'm curious if it's just to much work to implement properly, and that's why seemingly nobody has made a mod like this, or if it's because it is (or was) just not possible to mod in at all.
