My mod is not showing up

I made a mod and i have all the files that i know should be in their like the data (with the mod files in), manifest and thumbnail images. But the mod isn't showing up in the games mod section, does anyone know whats i could have done wrong? I have looked around on the internet but can't work out what is going wrong.
