[MOD] Wallmounted High-efficiency boiler [V1.0 Stable]

Postby murgh » Mon Apr 04, 2016 12:18 am

Instead of heating up the place a lot like the big old conventional boiler, this wall mounted High-efficiency condensing boiler has an Energy Star Certification and makes its surroundings a comfortable 20C.

This mod should help older prisons which were not designed for having boilers in the first place.

NOTE: the boiler image will be replaced by the capacitor image. You should remove boilers which you placed on walls before deactivating this mod!

If you'd rather like to have the old fashioned boiler facing in 4 directions, then take a look here: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=59557

Does it expand the range of hot water?

Nope, we need large hot water pipes for that, and how they made water pipes is a complete mystery. Seems to be off limits for a mod. :(

I agree with Murgh that they need large hot water pipes.

Perhaps modding the existing pipes to take both Hot and Cold water if its available?

i.e. if you start a prison without weather conditions the pipes will take cold, but as soon as you connect up a boiler it will take them both?

I'm only thinking of it as if it were 2 pipes running next to each other?
