[Mod] Glass Walls and doors

Hi to all. This is my first mod and I hope you like it :)
For this mod I was inspired by Oz tv show from HBO. In the tv show the cell walls are made of glass, maybe bullet proof 8)

Here is the presentation, thanks to the modder Adri and his mod "add bars wall/jail panels" for the hints.

Description:
This mod adds a new type of wall and a new type of cell-door made of glass.
As you all know, the transparency of a material is not possible, I tried to simulate the transparency creating a standard coloured floor that is visible through the glass. This solution it's not perfect because if you create some floor decoration, you can immediately notice the difference.

Compatibility:
Game version Alpha-27

This mod makes changes to the following files:

material.txt
sprites.png
tileset.png

Any mods that make alterations to these files may experience conflicts.

The mod is downloadable only from Steam Workshop :mrgreen:

unfortunately I don't play PA that often anymore. I played it for 550 hours on steam and now I just ran out of ideas

You are an expert architect and could create mods :D think about it.

Anyway some user told me there is a graphic strangeness when creating "vertical" wall and a perpendicular glass-door, because there is a huge blank space between the wall angle and the door. I almost figured out how to fix it :oops:

I did a few mods before but I never did sprite work. If I remember correctly every square represents 32 pixels. I assume what you mean is that the door looks off-center. You should put the door somewhere in the middle of that value I'd guess

You remember correctly, every square is 32px :)
The problem is not about the door, it fits perfectly the 32px square.
The problem is about the vertical glasswall sprite, in fact the wall width is the same as fences, so if I add a perpendicular door (even normal door) to a vertical glasswall sprite it can notice a huge gap, it seems that prisoners can pass between. I will provide some screenshot :D

I'm excited to try this when I get a chance in a few days. I really wanted something like this for Max Security, even if it is purely cosmetic. You know, for that 'Silence of the lambs' look.

I wonder if it is possible to make glass walls not hinder fog of war...
