I have here an instant launch mod. There are no cooldowns at all (except for anti-sub mode on carriers, and air defense mode for silos). This greatly changes gameplay.
I couldn't figure out how to upload it on to the net , so I'll have to email it to whoever wants it. PM might work...

it makes for epic naval battles, and does not change the normal function or purpose of the game. in 1v1 saving your nukes wins, in ffa launching first wins. Nothing new there. Unless you think the normal game is useless It just adds little spice and new taste.
mmmh okok ... but I personnaly prefer to control everything (that what make the players to declare me slowest player of all time probably) and will have difficulties to get some automation in my games ....

It's a mod for Minicom, which itself is a source code modification of Defcon.
It will do nothing with stock Defcon.
