There is no mods folder in my defcon directory

Hi everyone,
I bought defcon trough GOG.com, but i can't mod my game. In all the forums I looked so far therewas someone talking about this "mods" folder, but when I open my defcon folder, there i none mods directory! Do I have to create one? If so, should I name it "mods"? I tried this but it didn't work.
Well, my directory is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Defcon

There is no mods folder, and really, the map thatcomes with the game cannot compares to the mods we have, so pleasepeople, if any of you know how to work this problem out...

That would be the usual procedure, yes. The mods folder needs to sit right next to DEFCON.exe, not sure how the GOG install structures its files.

Hi there!
I've got the same isssue: I play the GOG version and I don't have any mod directory. I tried to create it: I can select a mod (i.e. the cold War one) but when I do apply it... no changes!

Any clues?
