Minnecon?

Sup my cool friends, I was one of dem lurkers but I grew a pair and made a account, now.
Minnesotacon is what I'm planning, the state of Minnesota with 6 factions fighting eachother, however one important question. When I draw a part of the map, do I need to make it look as close as possible as the state? Cause I'm having issues drawing, I have cities/icons etc. done. Also, if someone could give me a tutorial on painting for DEFCON, that would be great :V

Using zach's Modsuite (see top sticky), you can upload a picture into it, draw the borders over the picture, and you now have a 'realistic' map. That is, you can use a real map and 'trace' over it.
