Can't download your mod unfortunatelly. Send it as an attachment to the message not as a link to god-knows-where.
For future cases of new mods/additions, use forum PM, instead of posting a new topic: it can irritate some people
EDIT:
And you can release it yourself, it's fairly easy, all you have to do is upload it somewhere (search in the Google for "file hosting", for example).

Jamo,
It's easy to release your file yourself.
Just go to www.filefront.com and sign up for a FREE account.
Then upload your file to your account and provide the link to it here for everyone.
You might as well sign up for the FREE filefront.com account now since you will likely have the need to release other files.

Hehe, just I tested this web site and I found so many "Adware-spyware from TryMedia" and some "Excessive popups", this web site is not really safe like the others evil of the free web sharing solution..
MOR, people have uploaded more than 1 million files on www.filefront.com to distribute their files.
Of course they are going to have advertising, so what. That's how they are able to allow you to upload your files for free.
Just ignore the advertising and conduct your business with your files, there's no need to pay attention to it.
As for adware/spyware, so what if they keep statistics and information about it's visitors? That's how they tailor their advertising. Google and most other sites do the same thing.
There are no excessive popups either, at least not on my system.

Filefront is probably the least irritating of all the file sites... Most try to trick you into paying money to download or outright charge for it or hide the link to the actual download in some odd spot you wouldn't expect.
Semi-side note: I love TweakGuides.com for keeping tabs on game updates, but does anyone else find it irritating that he inevitably links to one of these file sharing sites for game patches instead of the game's official website? Maybe most people have fun endlessly clicking around to find the real link to the download...

I thought rus|Mike was hosting this?
Have you talked to zanzer7 about hosting the mod on his modlist site? http://defcon.zanzer7.net/
I'm sure he will, if not I will host it on mine.

Unlike other forums, the Defcon forum does not allow embedding.
Normally, you would copy the EMBED code and paste it here to get a direct download button like this:
So in this case, you have a couple choices.
Where you see the
simply right click on it and COPY the LINK.
Then paste it here to get the direct download link.
If you have trouble figuring out how to right click (ctrl click for Mac) to get the direct download link, then just copy the the http address to the webpage containing your download and paste it here.
Copy this webpage link from your address bar at the top of your web browser.
It will look something like this: http://files.filefront.com/YourUploaded ... einfo.html
When your mod is final and you want to officially distribute it (instead of getting feedback for finalization), I would recommend you do what Sfericz suggested and ask ZANZER to host it on his mods page.
This is where many other mods are and where people will look first to download mods.
Look here: http://defcon.zanzer7.net/?modlist
Hope this helps.
