Can't find the folder for mods

Hi, I just bought Defcon over steam, and I want to install mods. On defcons website is there written, that mods are saved "C:\program files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\Defcon\Mods\" But I have neither the defcon folder nor the Mods folder. Where do I then install mods.

I have the Data and reslist folder.

Stupid question: you have bought and installed the game, and not just bought it? And you only have one steam installation?

That the mods folder is not there would be normal. You'd have to create it. The defcon folder should definitely be there.

edit: I bought and installed...
(although there already was a preload installed, so I kinda just bought..)

The defcon folder isn't there, I've already tried to create the folders /defcon/mods/ and saved the mod in there, still no success.

also tried to save it in the defcon folder, which I've created.

Well, then search all your hard drives for a folder named "defcon" There's a Windows function for that. It has to be there somewhere, if you can play the game.

Can you tell us where? For the next guy with the same problem, you know
