Pirate mod
I've created a mod which turns DEFCON into a pirate simulator; instead of focusing on nuclear war, you have to launch cannonballs at enemy cities to plunder the dubloons within. It's all relatively authentic (at least, more so than Pirates of the Caribbean, just about) except that I couldn't think of anyway to implement aeroplanes except for making them into balloons. Problem is, I don't know how to upload mods; none of the stickies in the forum explain how. What do I do to get one uploaded to the Modlist?

Contact me.
The modlist is still largely manual. I'll be happy to host your mod, just e-mail me the .zip (and whatever stuffs you need to add, too)

Is this with 'Rolling Demo', or any game? If it's only the rolling demo (or any game with AI), check the /territories/- and sailable.bmp-files; if the AI isn't able to place their units, the game will crash some time into a game, if I recall correctly.

It's added to the modlist, and can be found here:

Although it is a tad bit bright, I like the map!
Enjoy
