steam + mods ?

i cant seem to figure out how to get mods on my steam downloaded version i put them in the mods folder and the wont appear in the mods box

any thoughts?

What is your idea of a 'mod' folder? (ie. what is the path to your current mod folder?)

Is your mods folder located in "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\defcon"?

No, it should be:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\defcon\mods\<modfolder>

Where <modfolder> is the mod you are trying to install
