She is not a member of the boards, though she occasionally appears on IRC. Rarely, but it does happen from time to time.

xander, so naive. Women are sly. If Wendryn wanted to be shinygerbil, she could be.

Wendryn is not shinygerbil. shinygerbil is not Wendryn. But now you've said that, I'm not so sure...

/me runs off to check

EDIT: Pretty sure I'm not Wendryn.

A have a question about this tool
Ive been working on a map
but somehow my cities are not placed,
and secondly, where does it put the files you save?

and maybe someone can make a decent modding/modsuite tutorial

inside the "data" folder in the same place you placed the modsuite. Just copy that data folder to your main DEFCON folder, and you should be fine ... I can't provide full support for the ModSuite 11f though, as Faxmachinen did a minor code overhaul ... if anything, you could try using the old ModSuite BETA-1. Hope this helps

Seconded! ~ It's hard to do with the quality of equipment for the time being, though.

If I find the time and will, I might redo the ModSuite ~ After all, I've learned quite a bit in the past 4 months of fiddling with C, C++ and OpenGL.

As for now, exams are taking up most of my time. Expect to see more of me sometime after may :)

City markers are really tiny, so make sure to zoom in as much as possible. It was actually one of the things I wanted to improve, but for some reason I didn't.

somehow my modsuit doesnt start if i try to replace the blur.bmp....

I think I've mentioned it before, but make sure the dimensions of blur.bmp are exactly a power of two. If it's off by just one pixel, ModSuite will run very slowly or not at all.

Some examples of power-of-two dimensions:
2^9 x 2^9 = 512 x 512
2^8 x 2^7 = 256 x 128
2^11 x 2^11 = 2048 x 2048

the size of my picture is exactly 512x512.... I've already read that, but thanks anyway

Also make sure it's color depth is 24-bit. Try opening the image in another program, and saving it again as BMP.
