The mod looks great, I love the look of the game with the satelite images, but in the long run I'm sorry to say but the wargames feeling is lost with a more realistic looking map :P

Still great looking mod.

Just be happy you aren't getting the Blue Marble Next Generation textures - Level 0 through 5 - for Celestia ... (After which I found out my laptop couldn't handle them :?)

You think Level 5 textures are big? Orbiter supports Level 10 in the latest release. Now those are some massive texture files. :o

It's a tad low resolution but otherwise fantastic. The icons will take a little getting used to, but imo it'll be worth it.

Screenies below (just some quick ones from a rolling demo - i haven't actually played with this yet).

It does, now? Jeez, it's been too long since I've played Orbiter ... think it was around Level 8 back then

i love your mod, but i stopped using it today, because i realized, that it hides everything that happens above greenland (due to the white color, that lays on top)...

can anyone fix that?

regards

I use this and have never had a problem with it, guess its cause I have radar on and hardly play as NA or send bombers over greenland.

Turn down brightness maybe?

DerD, you can open up the blur.bmp-file in any editor and make whatever changes you deem necessary. If the edit turns out well, you could even share it here :)
