1) Mobile ICMB/Air defense towers (so that once an ememy is taken out you can reposition)
2) The destroyer unit (a true sub killer, and fast)
3) Estimated time to impact (this way you can coordinate your ICMB impacts with your subs and bombers to lessen the chance of they shoot them down)
4) Extended range on the fighters (they always run out of gas on recons)
5) Changing the "comms" button to a red telephone
Mobile launch platforms and other possible suggestions

I like the red phone idea but tbh the rest is taking away much of the game's quality.
For example beeing able to move your silos would be more of an annoyances (for the enemy, which will eventually be you yourself sometime too, so think of that point of view too).
Estimated time of impact is taking away the raw thinking you have to do.
the subkiller is a cool idea! like ships and airplanes subs should come in 2 versions as well!

Meh.

Meh. Kind of ruins the rock-paper-scissors of the game.

Meh. It might be a nice addition, but I think it would clutter the GUI, and removes some of the skill required to coordinate launches.

Change the world size. The fighers will go farther.

Meh.

1) Mobile ICMB/Air defense towers (so that once an ememy is taken out you can reposition)
Well on the bright side it would bring the only land-based mobile unit into the game. Makes the surprise of submarines available on land, too. Question is, would they be attack-able by fighters and bombers conventionally?
2) The destroyer unit (a true sub killer, and fast)
No. The true "Sub killer" of the cold war was... Attack submarines. The sole purpose of coldwar nuclear attack submarines was to escort, track, and destroy Ballistic Missile submarines. Some were sent on special operations for intelligence gathering, but developments in submarine warfare was either to counter the potential of SSBNs (Nuclear ballistic missile submarines) or their escorts (the Alfa class Soviet attack submarine caused a panic in NATO with it's speed- so much to the point that NATO spent billions of dollars developing a torpedo that could catch it.) American submarines tracked and tailed Soviet Boomers hundreds of times- the only instance NATO destroyers were in a position to threaten any soviet equipment was when they were shadowing Russian vessels.
3) Estimated time to impact (this way you can coordinate your ICMB impacts with your subs and bombers to lessen the chance of they shoot them down)
What would be a nifty feature would be "ESTIMATED TRAJECTORY". If you see the missiles launch, at least they should be ghosted or a possible launch trajectory displayed when the mouse is over the enemy nuke. Might dampen the surprise factor some, but not much, since it's not like there's anything you could send to intercept the nukes anyway.
4) Extended range on the fighters (they always run out of gas on recons)
Playtesting determined how far the fighters flew. They were happy with fighters flying that far, so should we. Besides, these are (hypotheticly) supersonic fighters that weren't necissarily designed to be supersonic. The fact that they can cross the WHOLE OF EUROPE! on one tank that fast is fantastic, to say the least. Could we do that where we are now?
5) Changing the "comms" button to a red telephone
Possible with mods. The only if part is the phone being red- since as far as I know all the graphics are black and white.
