Modding the map...

ok so we've seen a few graphical mods to change the icons*which are for the most part very well done), but I'm yet to see any additional map mods. like lets say I wanted to make a fictional map from.....lets say a tolkien world. yay lord of the nukes mod! ok maybe not that but still the idea I think is feasible, that is if Introversion coded in the possibility to download different map setups over the internet rooms or even to be downloaded seperately and put into the folder manually. I dont know a terrible lot about coding but design is a hobby of mine. if anyone could get back that knows whether this is feasible or not that'd be great!

It's feasible alright.

Map mods are a pain in the ass to make. That's why I'm wating for NeoThermic's map maker. It should hopefully make things a lot easier.

and you don't think you might come up with something more ingenious?

Keep at it- it's something to do and it helps the community. Maybe you should contact NeoThermic and ask her what she's up to?

Ashley is a guy's name? Only ashleys I know of are female (no offense to neoThermic at all), I just had that impression when I saw....um....'the' name in the credits.
