Ok, so I reinstalled Defcon after ages, but can´t find the authentication key anywhere in the manual.

So I try to log into my IV store account, but it says that my email-adress isn´t in the records.

Now, I´ve been using the same email-adress for about 10 years, so I´m sure that´s the one I used for the IV store. Unfortunatly, my email-records from more then 2 years were lost due to a busted hard drive, so I can´t look up any confirmation mails.

However, I however been getting promotional mails for Multiwinia last year, so my adress has to be in the system somewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not yet. Figured forum might be faster if this is a known problem.

I just purchased the game through Steam. I get a authentication failure upon start. I just looked through the settings and my Authentication Key is missing/blank.

The game defaults to DEMO MODE.

Any help would be appreciated.

I answered your question in the other topic in which you posted. In general, proper forum etiquette dictates that you don't bump old topics, and that you don't post the same thing in multiple topics. It makes it easier for people to answer your questions, and makes it easier for you to find the answers when they are posted.
