HI
I cant get dedcon to read from the configfile1.txt
its just loads default settings
Here is the file

The file contents so far look OK. Can we get a screenshot of the server running? (I mean the console window with the bright on black text) Be aware that in case of problems, your authkey may appear and you need to blank it out.

Looks like you're starting the server with the wrong start menu entry. You need to use the one that says it will use configuration 1, you seem to be using the one that just uses default settings.
