Well either my key has been banned, or something has happened too IV's key authentication list.
Both on my Dedcon server, and just me regularly trying to login into a server I'm receiving a return error of :Key Authentication Failed:

Nothing has been changed since I've installed Defcon and Just to be sure I double checked the key.

Other people have been reporting this error. Does any IV staff know whats going on?

Same problem here, I go to play Defcon for the first time in a few weeks and I get the Authentication failed message. I bought Defcon through Steam.

Tried deleting the authkey file, Authentication works when I first start up the game but when I try to create a game it fails.

Looks like a few are having this problem, hope it can be fixed soon.

I have my status ACCEPTED but when I try to connet to a server it says that authentification if failed
I hope IV will fix it soonish.

General, or only affecting Dedcon?


Does connecting to a server hosted directly by a player works fine?

Looks not to be general, I can start my own server without demo limits.

I don't get you, if you are able to start your own server without demo limits it means the problem is NOT general (and dedcon only?).

frenchfrog, I fixed my last post....sorry I just woke up. But if it means anything, I don't get me either.
