Defcon won't work after i patched it.

Hi!
I patched my Defcon to the newest one and now it wont work anymore.
All previous versions work, but the newest one wont.

I can start the game, but when i try to start new game or something like that the game just crashes.

Any help please?

I have installed and uninstalled it for 3 times now, so I don't think that will help anymore. I have also tried to install 1.0 (it works) and patched it all the way to 1.43 and everyone of them worked fine until 1.43.

I have newest graphic drives (updated last week). I have also tried tweaked drivers and it doesnt work.

My graph card is Asus N7600GS

That's propably all info I can give.

So now I would like to know, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS!

Try installing Defcon in another directory? (Or uninstall Defcon, delete Defcon folder manually, then reinstall Defcon)

Else check for a blackbox.txt file in Defcon directory.

Where should this blackbox.txt be? I didn't see it in Defcon folder (C:/Program files/Defcon)?

blackbox.txt should be in Defcon directory if it exists. Is there a debug.txt file in Defcon directory?

Perhaps try redownloading the patch?

Ok, it seems that it doesn't even create blackbox.txt in Defcon directory

Also I tried to reapply patch and as versio 1.42 or less it works, but when I change it to 1.43 it doesn't work anymore.

When I start the game it works fine, but if I click New Game it crashes and I get that windows message that program must be closed and do you want to report to microsoft about this.

But when I click Join Game, I can see Server Browser and then it crashes and I get that windows message that program... blaa blaa blaa...

So is there anything I can do or do I just need to forget Defcon completely...

I guess you can play 1.42 (there is almost no difference between 1.42 and 1.43, the only change is to fix an in-game exploit)
