Yes I see, it says MULTIPLAYER games. Say it out loud with me, M-U-L-T-I, not SINGLE... MULTI-player. I can be a bit tricky to say for some I know, but with some practice youll get it.

It's been said before, and I'll say it again. When you play against the AI, it becomes a MULTIPLAYER GAME. THERE IS NO SINGLE PLAYER. This is due to the way Defcon works.

And heres the copy and paste from the Halflife 2 website:

"Internet connection required for activation."

I find it funny that you omit words here and there, or act as if the word "multiplayer" and "singleplayer" are the same thing. I wonder if you have ever played a single player game?

I ponder if you've ever requested help before. Do you read what people write in large letters? Does this help?:

POST YOUR DEBUG.TXT FILE HERE!

Alright, let us, for a second, assume that you were confused by the use of the word "multiplayer." Perhaps IV weren't clear enough about what that mean, perhaps it was confusing. It happens. The fact remains that Defcon requires a properly configured network interface, whether or not the computer is actually connected to any real network. This has been stated several times. Many people have asked you to post your debug.txt file, in the hopes that we might be able to diagnose the problem, which we think is network related. You have refused to post such a file, and haven't done anything, as far as we can tell, to fix your network configuration. So, I have a very simple question for you:

What do you want?

Do you want to continue wasting your time here by participating in a bloody flame war, or do you actually want to get Defcon running? If you want to continue the flame war, go right on ahead, though I am not sure what you gain by it, and I am quite sure that people will eventually start ignoring you (for instance, if you don't bother posting something productive after this post, I can guarantee that I will be ignoring you from now forward) . If you actually want to get Defcon running, post a bloody debug.txt for Christ's sake! Jebus!

Correct me if I'm wrong. You tried to play the singleplayer game as a Demo-user?
As a new Demo-user myself :x I'm pretty certain that you can only play multiplayer games (by clicking on: Join Game)
But feel free to tell me I'm wrong anyone (as I'm desperate for some practice against Bots  )

This is incorrect. As a demo user, you can join default games, and you can create default games with one other player.

What is it that has been asked several times above? Something about a debug.txt? If you have the same problem, the solution is going to be the same, too. Arriving at that solution will require the same steps, the first of which is posting a debug.txt.
