Enemies don't appear

I have tried everything and i don't ever get enemies to appear.Does anyone know what to do?

Could you please be a little more explicit about what "everything" means when you say that you have "tried everything?" From the minute you launch Defcon, what, exactly do you do? What do you click? My guess is that you click "New Game," then click "Ready," then start the game. If you are looking for AI enemies, you need to click the "Add AI Player" before you click "Ready." If you are having trouble finding human opponents, I would guess that you are behind a nasty firewall, and need to open up some ports for Defcon to get through.
