weird lines. not the default map lines, but stranger.

ok, i started playing defcon one day after having installed a few mods. the mods i installed were gridcon, the vector mod, mil-std, polar, satcon, space6, and vectors. when i start a game, these weird lines appear in the oceans, along with some solid red, unfilled red, and green dots. also where the lines meet numbers are present at the point. i have no idea whats goin on, but i tried deactivating all mods with no success. havent tried deleting all yet, but if worst comes to worst, i guess the mods go. help please?

Those are travel nodes and ai nodes. Look in your Defcon folder at 'preferences.txt'. 'RenderNodes = 0' means don't show them, 'RenderNodes = 1' means show them, which is helpful when modding. Make sure it says 0, not 1. It's near the bottom.

If it is set to 0 already I'd suspect that one of the mods has it's own prefernces.txt file set to 1.
