No key #2

For the love of Bob, I wish people could stop ignoring me...

Sunday, I bought Defcon, but an error appeared after paying.

Tuesday, I had not received a key, nor a response the the message I sent immediately after the error. So I sent a new one.

Thursday, I still have heard nothing from Introversion. If I can't get a refund, the least I could ask for is an actual key to stop playing the demo.

Have you tried logging in to the IV store using the account you created? Is Defcon listed as one of the games you own, or is there no recorded transaction? If you used PayPal, does it register as money sent etc. etc.?

I've logged in a few times, but it always told me I owned no game. Somehow I got the money transferred back today, though, for no apparent reason - and still no word in my mailbox. Oh well.

Perhaps as KingAl suggested, IV never received any money and the method you used (PayPal perhaps) sent your money back.

Paid using my VISA, works like a dream for everything else... oh well, might give it another shot at some later time.

Is it a Visa Electron? There are issues with non-UK residents and Visa Electron cards not being able to be accepted (or, at least, there have been in the past). If it is, try using a different card type, if you have one.

In all cases of a store error, do copy the error message and post it in the relevant topic. Things can't be fixed if we do not know what the problem was supposed to be other than someone's description.
