Instant crashes

Postby parrot of doom » Thu Jul 12, 2007 7:41 pm

I can't play Defcon any longer. If I try and connect the computer crashes. It also crashes if I double-esc to get back to the desktop. Numlock still works, but I have to hard-reset the computer.

This has only started happening in the last day or two. I'm running Vista, and everything is up to date.

Here are the error files:

The black box file appears to be unrelated, since it was last modified in June and I've played more recently than that.

This problem seems to have appeared when the message on the startup screen changed from the '10,000 people playing with the same key'.

The usual question:

Did you change anything before it began crashing? If yes, revert.

Also, computer crashes are abnormal, porbably a Windows/Drivers/Hardware problem.

Nothing I'm aware of, beyond the message bottom right of screen being changed.
