Defcon 1.1 Refusing to Startup

Well, I was playing the game fine before. After changing absolutely nothing, the game refuses to startup. I get the infamous "Sorry, defcon.exe has encountered a problem and must now close," message. Funny thing is, Defcon 1.0 won't do this but Defcon 1.1 will. WTF?

Any help appreciated.

EDIT: Never mind, installing it to a different directory seems to have cleared it up.

Dont install 1.1? Have you tried a full reinstall of Defcon (uninstall, Remove folder, Reinstall)?

deleting game-history.txt will fix this.

I've had bad experiences with deleting game directories before. The game would then compeltely corrupt and never work on the same computer henceforth.

But if it happens again I'll try deleting the history.txt file. Thanks for the help.

I just had the same problem today. Deleting the game-history.txt file solved the problem.
