Bug Report: Weird Text Input Problem

Sometimes when I type text as a chat message or game name it will appear garbled and letters will be replaced by stange symbols. This only affects certain letters but the letters it affects appears to be random. For example, last time this happen all g's I typed were turning into square characters. So were U's. But before, no e's were working. If I restart the game the problem is usually fix but it sometimes will happen again. This might be because I have GAIM running and am switching between Defcon and GAIM while I play.

I will continue to play and try to provide more details on when and how the problem occurs.

Its because you're Alt-tabbing between windows. Normally, alt+tab or alt-esc a few times fixes it.

Bumping this again... it's a problem that's popped up all the more recently.
