authentication problem

I downloaded my pre-ordered game from one of the mirror sites and entered the authentication key I received by email. It says "key invalid".

I have tried this many times and always the same problem. I see from the gamespot message boards that others are having the same problem.

What do I have to do to get myself authenticated to play the full game?

Maybe its this...

When I first loaded up, there were already a few characters in the code bars.

1. DELETE all characters with delete/back arrow key.
2. Enter all letters, and make sure you also type the dashes -

Many many thanks. I must be stupid. It never occured to me to type the dashes - I had just used the space bar.

First impression from tutorial is that it is excellent.

I had the same problem myself was missing the - but i just did a copy and used Ctrl-v and it pasted right in there.
