silo placement generally - star of india specifically

Hello, I'm a new DEFCON player, I've been looking at the forum for some time although I've not bought the game yet. I'm curious about the most effective silo formations for each continent. I've seen the Star of India strategy discussed frequently on the boards but I can't find a detailed explanation of the setup (yes, I even used the search!). My favorite continent to play right now is Africa as I find it very versatile in terms of silo formation.

Also I'll say the only person I recognize on these forums is Tom Busch, I've played him a few times now, beat him twice, and he's hilarious, especially his GBCW post.
