Passive subs are stealthy, that's about it. They can however fire if provided with radar. I dont recommend it active subs are far more effective
and the passive fireing is way to dodgy.
And i dont suggest to use them before they've been depleted, however sometimes when you need the extra edge that's what you need to do.
