The tips for... 6 players ones

There is one simple tip - be faster then all other players in taking out Moscow, Leningrad, New York, Chicago, Cairo, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Kinshasa, London, Paris maybe, Sao Paolo, Santiago, Luma, Mexico.

And another simple tip - launch icmbs while there are still a lot of alive people in other territories.

Well, that's all.

If you launch 6 missiles at the same time, at the same target, from the same area(so it forms a tight bunch), it will take out any city, or a silo. However, you've gotta get a good angle in respect to the defending silos. Of course, you've also gotta make sure you're not launching through/past another bunch of silos on the way to your target. If the missiles have to travel over 4+ silos, before reaching the target, it won't work. If it's a city in the middle of 6 silos, you'll prolly hit it once or twice. If it's near the edge of the silos, where the missiles are approaching, it's gone.

This is why you'll see people stacking 2 columns, of 3 silos each, north of Sao Paulo. They put it at a certain angle, because that's the path most silo missiles take and it defeats the bunched launches, from that angle.

Oh yeah, 6 player.

Don't worry too much about defending your cities. They're gonna get hit. Just focus on your offense and protect your silos/bombers/carriers because those nukes translate into points.

I like to take out a (weak) neighbor's big cities, and silos at the same time if I see them. Once they're defenseless I clean out their little cities throughout the whole game. Steady bombing runs. Meanwhile, I race to other big cities/regions further away and try to hit them before their neighbors do.

I wrote a guide to 6 player a while back that you might find helpful. To find it, go to my [profile] and find posts.

You can use other peoples attacks on someone else to your advantage as well. While their anti air is distracted with the other missiles send yours in too.
