Well, it weren't alliance plans, but I told them in public while I only wanted to tell them to Ambush in this game:

It's extra funny (for me) because I did what I said I would do and still won (narrowly, with some help from Ambush) :)

Bert, the funniest mistake that you have ever made is cheating, and still losing. ;) Now, where is that topic, so that I can link to it...

The difference being that when Bert was cheating, he was demonstrating a proof-of-concept kind of thing, and I agreed to help him. The cheating that you are describing is entirely different, and unethical.

Yea.. I guess its the same as many already did, but..

One evening I was playing several consequtive 6 player games, drinking beer and having a lot of fun. Towards the latter games I got so drunk it was hard to concentrate on any details :P So according to my normal strat, I tried witholding the placement of units and silos until the last seconds of Defcon 4. Well you can guess what happened, I didnt even have the clarity to go realtime, just let the time slip by. Result: I failed to place any carriers, and placed only 5 silos.

What's maybe even funnier there, I won that game anyway.

Other funny thing (this keeps repeating often, especially on the more intoxicated evenings). I plan a huge backstabbing maneuver (often when the ally launches) target NYC, Chicago, most of minor cities with subs... Then I go to give orders somewhere else, and forget to leave the alliance before the nukes land -_- Result: huge collateral, and extreme embarassment.

Same, happened to me yesterday for the first time : more than 35 M collateral because I forgot to leave the alliance (I had a couple of other attacks to manage at the same time and it was 4 am :p).

I forgot to use a half of all silo because I put them too far from the other (in Asia)
and I discover them later when time out.

I have a habit of getting everything right, gamewise and with my timing and opening all silos to make the perfect launch then mid way through launching realise i left a silo in nuke mode without choosing targets, inturn unbalancing my attack >.<

I do something similar to that; when I finish picking targets suddenly realize that I've left one silo in AA mode.
