what was the funniest mistake when you played Defcon?

In the same day that i downloaded the demo, i started to practice and all. Everything was going OK afher the tutorial thingy. Without watching what i was doing while when i started to increase the volume with one hand and the other i was putting the units and all, but when the first nuke launch alert sound i almost hited the roof and instead i quickly decreased the volumen to normal. that was the funniest thing that happened to me. Even my old sister sayd sarcastly " When i wanna to blow up my ear drums, i will tell you.Thanks for that!"

thats happened to me dozens of times, with iTunes, i thot i pressed play, so i cranked the volume up (i have monster speakers) and when i found out that i didnt press play, i pressed it, and the freaken bass left me in a freakin hear attach (not really). so yea, i know dozens of other people who can relate to your story.

Mine would be either forgetting to place units, or sending a vital naval group on a round about trip and forgetting about them. Happened more times then I would like to admit.

Or how about sending bombers from one base to another and NOT disarming them. You can lose your bases all to easy that way.

I did a full out launch with all silos subs and bombers in a 1v1, by accident I hadn't selected targets for the subs when they were in launch mode, I aimed the silos and bombers just outside the radius of the city and installations ( I had the map zoomed in and wasnt so easily promted with the target stick highlight thing )

All my subs died, all my bombers returned without making a kill and all silos were empty and I was lost the game something like -2 - 4

Yeah, I forgot to place subs once (in a ladder game against MikeTheWookiee ), that's about as extreme as it gets.

another mistake that i did was once a time that i played against a spanish who i understimated, i started to annoy him with a massive bomber attack (everything was going ok, i won 30 points quickly) bombing Europe leaving berlin and barcelona close to the 0 survivors, but when he attacked La Paz in southamerica who knows how, i get distracted to defend southamerica and 5 of my bombers in europe was shoot down
