I played yesterday against Lunar MacReagan and it was very instructive game for me :)

He told me to keep moving my subs, so today I was lucky to try it against another player and what a nice game :D

Fun game.

My point on the subs was intended mainly as specific to that particular case because of my mistake... not having any carriers in anti sub mode in the gap between Iceland and the British Isles yet at that time. If you hadn't switched the subs to active sonar they probably would have gotten to the arctic unnoticed and you could have caused some considerable damage by launching them at an unexpected time from an unexpected location up there.

Risky move still. It worked well in that other match of yours but it seemed like the other player wasn't skilled at all. You also launched the subs from within Europe's potential radar range which I wouldn't recommend in the future.

Good players will most definitely cover the arctic area before opening silos if there's any chance of subs having made their way up there and if they have the units to do so. Good players will most likely closely monitor the paths to the arctic too, which I failed to do there in time.
