Hardly a revolutionary treatise here - I'm sure that most regular players will have realised that grouping silos is prudent, and that using RADAR to augment this defence network is sensible. The main thing is, to keep your silo poistions unpredictable. Using a set formation will doom anyone to failure against experienced opposition. I prefer to use a single group of six rather than two of three, because a triplet of silos can easily be wiped out by a bomber run or sub strike. Also, you can group your ICBMs better in a six. I to keep all of my assets in a single part of my superpower, well behind RADAR range, with the exception of scout RADARS, naturally.

Can you explain this to me, I don't think I understand what you are saying.

Edit: Nevermind. I understand now. I thought you were contradicting yourself with the last sentence. But what you meant was your OWN scout radars, not the enemies.

However, I think hiding your silos outside enemy radar range is not the best course of action in 6 player default. As you can see in the pics, almost all of them are in enemy range.

I am going to have to disagree with a major aspect of your setup, which Chimaera already touched on. You are allowing a significant number of your assets to be viewed easily by the enemy, and are allowing by their proximity to the borders to be attacked by a force with near infinite marshaling space outside of your radar range. Suisilos are one thing, but I would say that many of those are just asking to by blasted away with little opportunity for retaliation or defense.

And that's what matters most.
