naval battles

Postby Nova Cygni » Wed Sep 05, 2007 2:07 am

Sometimes I find myself at the very beginning of a naval battle, b-ships in a defensive line, carriers ready - yet I find shots coming in (presumably from bombers), before I can make a move. The opponent has not launched any fighters at me, so I presume their radar cover is coming from carriers. I tend to put a couple of lone carriers up with my battleship line, which can't see bombers or their carriers - what are they doing to be able to see me first?

It could be a result of ground based radar coverage.
