Tips from MVPE
played some noobs today who let me score 760+ points in their game, hihihi. Anyway here is a top tip from MVPE for the rest of you: When scouting aim to scout the coasts and borders of the enemy as this is where their radars are likely to be. Sounds obvious but even I used to try and send my ships right into the enemy territory to scout their entire country. I think the tutorial teaches some bad habits which are hard to break later on. I use this tactic a lot on one ones as it slowly breaks the enemy down, and I can do my favourite early silo launch.

Good tip for newcomers
Another interesting point you rise is the tutorial teaching bad habits. Perhaps we should come up with a list of improvemens IV could make to it?
It would be awesome and truly cool if at the end of the tutorial the Defcon school trailer (made by Ace) was played somehow -maybe even just directly in the browser by going to youtube ? and the Defcon school topic was linkd to on these boards.
Now THAT would bring a steady flux of new blood, as participating in the forums - even just by reading- has a higher chance to get someone sucked in

hmm I think it is best to be as close as possible without coming into radar view, and send fighters as deep as possible, perhaps with a lone sacrificial bomber to draw AA fire..... those fighters sent coastward to find maybe just some radar stations are a big loss to make for just radar locations, all while giving away carrier locations.

Good strategy, though. I never really thought about it.

Hey mugabe guy.
Can you open up another account as "Sir David Attenborough" and start roleplaying him instead? I'm getting dizzy from all the gibberish.
