So after an excellent game, I was taken aback by the results of the score. In a very close game between Creator and I, he was placed above me on the board, but at the timer, the computer gave the victory to me... Does anyone know why this happens or what the method is for determining this?
Here's another example of one just today...

I'm guessing that for the scorboard, the scores are considered tied (although you edged him out by a few tenths of a point), and there is a secondary sort going on, perhaps him having more survivors/fewer deaths than you.
Edit: Never mind. I only looked at the first pic. The second one obviously doesn't follow.

Demosthenes: 392.2 - 121.4 = 270.8
(MOR): 391.4 - 121.9 = 269.5
You forgot the collateral. Still, the numbers give Demosthenes the victory by 0.7 of a point (269 vs 268.3). Strange, because he only has 268 points on the scoreboard.
There was no collateral in the first game, so the scores on the scoreboard should mean that the other guy should have won.
Demosthenes has the highest number of kills in both scenearios. If the computer don't use fractions of a point, that's the probable culprit. That, or alphabetical order, but I really don't think that's the case.
I've heard something about the score calculation taking a little second or so. It is possible that either the scoreboard or the victory announcement is given before the scores has been finally calculated, if a nuke lands a fraction of a second before the end of the game. In that case, that might be the case.
