Scouting

Postby GG » Thu Oct 05, 2006 6:14 pm

Hi all, i'd like to know a question about scouting.
If a fighter pass over an enemy silos (or airbase or radar) do that silos become visible "forever" for me?
If yes, how can i see that position? (by clicking radar tabs for example)

tnx.

Isn't it obvoius?

Anyway, if a building it stays on the map forever, but greyed out. You can target it like anything else.

The tutorial gives a better explanation

However scoutign a silo is very difficult with a fighter as it will get shot down before it gets to the silo unless the silo is distracted shooting nukes.

Have the fighter hide behind a couple of bombers or a nuke :) The silos will go for those, first.

Yeah man! Spy satellites too! And it would be cool if there would be an option to insert spies into enemy territory! And saboteurs that can blow up their silos! And tanks and infantry too! Put in the resources to, domething like defconium, that would be sooooo cool.

Yeah, i know, but everyone wants "one unit more". Besides, if there was an awacs, everyone would know everyone's installations locations, and that sucks..

It's good right now IMHO.
It's all about choices: Do you want your fighters to defend your fleet, or send them on kamikaze scout missions? ;)
